MLB & CAR SHOW

This week was started off by going to a Cleveland Indians game vs Los Angles Angles at Progressive Field. We got lucky, a fellow camper had tickets and could not go to the games so he gave us the tickets for free. When we arrived either batting practice was over or there was none since it was a 1:05 pm first pitch. We have been to Progressive Field (aka Jacobs Field to true Tribe fans) several times, but never from the nose bleed section. I can't complain too much, FREE TICKETS! The view of the field and game is different from a birds eye view. You can see the whole field and when the ball is hit in the air it's at eye level. I can not recall a Tribe game I went to where the god guys lost. By the fifth inning I had a bad felling this might be the first time I see the Tribe lose in person. However, as the tail says if a bird poops on you good luck will come.In the top of the sixth a bird did just that. In the bottom of that inning the Tribe hit two two-run home runs to tie the game. Bottom of the seventh Tribe hit a solo shoot to take the lead and added an insurance run in the eight. Chris Perez came in and closed out the game for the win to keep my win streak in tact.

The traffic leaving Cleveland was bad, so we walked to the Horse Shoe Casino and ate at the buffet dinner. By the time we left the casino there was no traffic and getting out of Cleveland was a breeze.

At the campgrounds there was a car show the Cutty's 1st Cruise In. The turn out was impressive with 95 cars, trucks and bikes showing up. There was vehicles from the 20's to current models. This event was put together by Cutty's campers to support the Marlboro Volunteer Fire Department. When there is an emergency call for Cutty's Marlboro Fire Depart is detached. I have seen first hand at least three times they were called and two were for my neighbors on my row.  A good day with fellow campers and community to support a good cause raising over $1,000 for Marlboro Fire Department and the 50/50 drawing pot was over $1,500. With the turn out I'm sure there will be a Cutty's 2nd Cruise In next year.

Too many cars to post every car, here are a few...
