THIRTEEN MONTHS IN ARIZONA, TIME TO MOVE ON
We arrived in Buckeye, AZ on September 8, 2017. Our goal was to work at Amazon in Phoenix, AZ for the peak season. Then travel in the summer of 2018. All those plans were put on hold on November 24, 2017 when we got the news of my Father-in-Law passing. Within days we quit Amazon and was back in Japan to support my Mother-in-Law. Hiromi wanted to return to Japan in the summer of 2018 and the best thing for us to do was for her to go back and for me to stay in Arizona and get a job. I got hired by the Arizona Diamondbacks to work security until the end of the MLB season. My final day was 26 September. That gave us a week and half to get everything put away and the RV ready to get back on the road.
This is by far the longest we have been in one spot for the six years we have been living full time in or RV. The best part of this lifestyle is when things come up unexpected we can adapt and change our plans. I have gotten use to Arizona summers of 116 degree weather everyday.
On October 8th we will be back on the road heading to our next job in Murfreesboro, TN working for Amazon''s CamperForce. This is our fifth year working CamperForce and our second in Murfreesboro, TN. Then we will be back in Buckeye AZ in late January 2019 for the start of MLB spring training and my job at Goodyear Ball Park. After that unknown at this time. After Amazon we will have our plans for the summer of 2019.
I know this BLOG has been in a stagnant stage, but there was nothing going on but work the past six months. That will change in the coming months as there will be plenty of stuff to share, Mostly, Amazon CamperForce for all full-timer RV who have never done a peak season and always wanted to know what to except. With the little time we do get off, we will share what Murfreesboro and Nashville area has to offer. Of course my annual year in review, our boondocking and campground review and anywhere we may stop along the way. To add to the excitement, my goal is to add a YouTube video along with some of my BLOG posts.
